Waiting times in the supermarket or at the tram or bus stop should be used as real breaks, i.e. leave your smartphone in your pocket and look around in peace. Maybe look at the people queuing in the supermarket or at the doctor’s surgery. Maybe look out of the window when travelling by bus, maybe watch how other people stare at their smartphones, maybe try to guess who they are communicating with or which websites they are visiting.
This may be unusual for many people at first, but over time you realise that you regain a sense of your surroundings, your head and brain clear and you experience moments of relaxation again.
